The Stanford Cyber Initiative (the Initiative) was created in late 2014 with a $15 million grant from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation (Hewlett). The Initiative is a central hub on campus for policy-relevant research across disciplines to address the opportunities and challenges raised by cyber-technologies in our social systems.

(CSRA) is an industry-led, non-profit consortium focused on research and development strategy to address evolving cyber security environment through partnerships among government, industry, and academia. The founding members of the CSRA are Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), Honeywell International, Inc., Intel Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and RSA, the Security Division of EMC.
