U.S. Geological Survey Mendenhall Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) invites applications for the Mendenhall Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program for Fiscal Year 2007. The Mendenhall Program provides opportunities to conduct research in association with selected members of the USGS professional staff. Through this Program the USGS will acquire current expertise in science to assist in implementation of the science strategy of its programs. Fiscal Year 2007 begins in October 2006. Opportunities for research are available in a wide range of topics. The postdoctoral fellowships are 2-year appointments. The closing date for applications is December 1, 2005. Appointments will start October 2006 or later, depending on availability of funds.
