Schlanger Ocean Drilling Fellowships

Joint Oceanographic Institutions (JOI) sponsors candidates of outstanding promise and ability to conduct research compatible with the science goals of the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP). Submitted research proposals must be based on any past IODP, ODP, or DSDP leg. The award is $28,000 per year to be used for stipend, tuition and fees, benefits, research costs, and incidental travel. Applicants must be enrolled in a Ph.D. or M.S. program at a U.S. institution.
