Status of Women in the States

The Status of Women in the States provides data on women’s progress in 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the United States overall. The data can be used to raise awareness, improve policies, and promote women’s equality. Supported by the Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR), which conducts rigorous research and disseminates its findings to address the needs of women, promote public dialog, and strengthen families, communities, and societies.
