IndOOS, the Indian Ocean Observing System, is an integrated basin-scale observing system that combines data from moorings, Argo floats, XBT lines, drifters, tide gauges, satellite data and more. The system is designed to help provide an early warning system for tsunamis, cyclones, and other large scale oceanic or weather events.
