Description:
Heat flow data for the United States is available here, based on regional and background well temperature gradient and conductivity measurements. Wells that are spaced close together are averaged, while well within geothermally anomalous ares are not used in the regional analysis. The database includes BHT, heat flow, temperature gradient, thermal conductivity, heat productions, porosity, lithology, and water table depth, among others. Downloadable maps of the data are also available.
