NOAA documentary Orphan Orca: Saving Springer about saving a young, abandoned killer whale off the coast of Washington is now available on the NOAA homepage. The half-hour documentary, which won an Emmy award in 2005, covers the efforts by NOAA scientists to bring the baby whale back to health and return her to the wild.
