Link: MIT Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies [Preview]
Description:
Welcome to MIT's Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies (ISN), where advanced nanotechnology research will dramatically improve the survival of the soldier of the future. The ISN was founded in March 2002 by a $50 million contract from the U.S. Army. Our charge is to pursue a long-range vision for how technology can make soldiers less vulnerable to enemy and environmental threats. The ultimate goal is to create a 21st century battlesuit that combines high-tech capabilities with light weight and comfort.
