Description: Welcome to the Earth Sciences Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz! The past five years has seen the expansion of our program into planetary and atmospheric sciences. The most recent faculty addition is Assistant Professor Patrick Chuang who joined the faculty in July of 2001. Prof. Chuang is an atmospheric chemist with particular interests in observational constraints on aerosols and atmospheric pollutants.
