Description:
James Cameron, the Academy Award winning director of Titanic, explores the idea proposed by many scientists that organisms living on the seafloor at mid-ocean ridges provide clues to where we might find life on other planets for the new 3D IMAX film "Aliens of the Deep," which opened on January 28th. Cameron films marine scientists and NASA researchers in ocean expeditions as they seek and explore hydrothermal vents at mid-ocean ridges and consider whether similar environments exist elsewhere in our solar system.
