ScienceOnline2010 Session: Earth Science, Web 2.0+, and Geospatial Applications

scienceonline2010Jacqueline Floyd, geophysicist and editor for Element List, and Chris Rowan, geologist and blogger at Highly Allocthonous, will co-chair a session on Earth Science, Web 2.0+, and Geospatial Applications at the ScienceOnline2010 conference at Research Triangle Park, N.C., from January 14-17, 2010. The one-hour session will cover online and mobile applications, online collaboration tools, and cloud computing platforms for earth science research, including solid earth, ocean, and atmosphere subdisciplines.
