If you didn't get around to downloading the IPCC Working Group II Report "Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability" yet, here are some handy links for you. For a quick overview, see the video of the Brussels press conference, where the WGII Co-Chair Martin Parry gives a slide presentation of the main findings of the report.
There are two interesting things that stood out to me in the video which are relatively new. One is that scientists predict that the North Atlantic thermohaline circulation is not likely to shut down and bring on a freeze to northern Europe, as predicted by some scientists (see papers by Wally Broecker). Instead, the report says that the North Atlantic is likely to continue getting warmer. Also, scientists are finding that ocean acidification is threatening the shells of marine organisms, which Martin Parry said is a very recent finding.
