In case you haven't already heard, science bloggers from around the country will be converging in Chapel Hill North Carolina this Saturday for the 2007 Science Blogging Conference. What happens when you bring 160 science bloggers together in one place? Do they put their laptops down? To be sure, the 2007 North Carolina Science Blogging Conference this Saturday has already made plans to keep the bloggers blogging by providing wifi during the conference and even a projector and screen at dinner! So why did I just buy an airline ticket to fly to North Carolina? To watch these people blog in person, obviously! Hopefully we'll get to see a few people step out from behind their monitors, like Janet Stemwedel from Adventures in Ethics and Science, and Dave and Greta Munger from Cognitive Daily. I'll be taking my camera along to capture the action and will post pics here. See you soon, bloggers.

Jackie,
Fabulous. I wish I could be there. My son (37) is staying at youth hostels on his trip in SE Asia so why couldn't I stay at a dorm.
I'll be so interested in what you learn.
Have fun too.

Hey Bill,
I'm sure there will be plenty of blog posts about the conference all over the web. I'm staying at the Radisson myself, you know, because I'm sooo rich from all those Google ads. ;)
